Dr. Blaine DeAngelis is a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow who provides virtual therapy to adults (18+) in New York. Specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dr. DeAngelis uses evidence-based techniques to help individuals break free from unhelpful patterns, manage difficult emotions, and take tangible steps toward a life aligned with their values. Recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, she tailors approach to each client’s specific needs and goals, integrating additional modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide personalized and effective care. She works with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, relationship difficulties, and personal growth.
Dr. DeAngelis earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University and has extensive experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. Her training includes work in VA healthcare systems, academic medical centers, and community mental health practices, equipping her with the skills to support individuals from diverse backgrounds with compassion and expertise.
