Our History
Northeast Psychological Wellness was founded by clinical psychologist, Kimmy Ramotar, PsyD. Dr. Ramotar worked in a variety of clinical settings and often bore witness to the difficulty that individuals had trying to access quality mental health services. Therefore, she set out to change this. She established a behavioral health practice to make evidence-based psychotherapy more available to those who need it. Over the years, the rapid and steady growth of our practice has helped us expand our reach to many clients in need of mental health services. As a result, our work thus far has helped to create positive change in the lives of countless children, adolescents, and adults. We have also educated many about mental health and have worked tirelessly to reduce the barriers to treatment. To learn more about each of our therapists, read more about us.
