Virtual Grief Support Group: Coping with the Death of of a Loved One

The journey of grief can bring on an array of confusing emotions that are painful and unpredictable. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is not only extremely difficult, but it can also feel very isolating. It’s a pain that might be hard to explain, so seeking support from others who are also mourning can be a comforting experience. If you’ve lost someone significant in your life, this virtual grief support group can provide you with a therapeutic space to process your grief and feel less alone. You’ll also learn helpful ways to cope with bereavement.

When:

  • Every Tuesday, 7 PM – 8:30 PM EST

Where: 

  • Telehealth (video conferencing sessions)

Other Details: 

– For individuals aged 18 and older who have experienced the death of a loved one.

– This is an ongoing and open group, where new members can start and discontinue their attendance at any time. 

– Group participants must be in New York at the time of services.

– Group is facilitated by Corina Peguero, LMHC.

– Individuals are first scheduled a 60-minute intake appointment (video) with the group facilitator before they are eligible to join weekly group therapy sessions.

– We accept some insurance plans. Please contact our office to find out if your insurance plan will provide coverage for this group.
